We started God Cares International in response to the weariness of those who are suffering. Many families feel locked in poverty and trapped by despair, burdened by hardship and wondering whether God really cares. Bringing together the love and generosity of ordinary people for the sake of others is something we believe only God can do. When you join the mission of God Cares, you become part of a miracle - providing real proof that God loves and cares for the least, the lost and the lonely.

About God Cares International

GCI was founded by international leaders from Canada, Africa and India. Together with local and international partners, GCI is focused on small-scale, high impact activities revealing the love of God.

Chairman

Pastor Joel David came to Canada on a mission from India. He was commissioned to find support for the millions in northern India who have no hope without Jesus Christ. He now leads the Asian Christian Church in Edmonton and actively works to be a blessings to India, Pakistan and Turkey.

 

 

Rev. Nelson Mukiza Seburiri

Rev. Nelson Mukiza Seburiri

President

Pastor Nelson Mukiza Seburiri immigrated from the DR Congo and Rwanda and now serves with the Fresh Manna Fellowship of Edmonton. He remains in contact with the villages and project areas when GCI works in Africa.

Gary Zander

Executive Director

With over 25 years working in missions, Gary is President of the GivePro Consulting Group supporting charities in building their capacity. He comes to God Cares International for Food for the Hungry International where he focused on communications, strategy and information technology.
