God Cares International exists to advance the Christian faith through projects that relieve poverty, promote health, advance education and assist the displaced.
Given below is a list of our current projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.
East Congo Crisis, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
A genocide is growing in the DRC to eliminate the presence of Banyamulenge families. Over 85,000 people are displaced in the region as villages are burned, women raped and families attacked and murdered. We are seeking parters to assist in supporting families fleeing to safety in the highlands of East Congo. We need financial support to begin providing assistance.
Church Building, Kitengela, Nairobi, Kenya Budget: $7000
The members of the Glory Church, Bugarama, Rwanda, are mostly subsistence farmers and daily wage laborers, the majority of them refugees from Burundi or DR Congo. We will assist with completing the church’s roofing, building a baptismal tank and two office rooms.
